You practice the hand gestures of invoking the power of the scroll. The scroll seems to have a mind of it's own because every time you gesture incorrectly, a subtle voice will tell you, "That ain't workin'" You realize this scroll is beyond your level to use. Suddenly, as if from it's own accord, the magic leaps from the scroll and jumps to your legs. Suddenly, your feet become covered in a rough bark-like substance and the tips of your toes grow into roots and dig deep into the ground.
